II. LET GOD USE YOU.
A. God has given every person on this earth gifts and talents.
1. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure (Phil 2:13).
2. Use your gift of song, writing books, poems, encouragement, cooking etc.
3. “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven (Mat 5:16).
4. Christian must always be engaged in good works.
5. “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him (Col 3:17).
B. To often we use our talents and gifts for the world or for our own self gain. When God is the one that gave it to us.
1. Right now there are some people working over time to be the next big celebrity.
2. Not realizing there is a very real danger of being lifted up with pride.
3. “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall (Prov 16:18).
4. “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul” (Mark 8:36)? The answer is nothing
